Wendell & Wild

This was the first time I worked on a stop-motion feature. Every scene was shot on a motion controlled rig so we received from the client multiple passes. A foreground beauty with the rigged puppets animated on blue screen, a clean plate and a blue screen pass to help pull the key.

The backgrounds were partially practical and enhanced/extended with a mix of CG and DMP elements. Cold breath was added in comp as well.
