We Are Who We Are

Director Luca Guadagnino set this story in a real NATO base which have been abandoned for years in Bagnoli di Sopra, Italy. The set production extensively rebuilt it making it functional again.

Set extensions were required to make the base feel bigger and also bring life to it which would otherwise felt architectural. We then needed to place the base closer to Venetian Lagoon so DMP backgrounds were used to change the landscape.
